A fire at a vehicle storage lot in Toledo Ohio has damaged a few Jeep Wranglers which were present there. Firefighters from three fire stations had been rushed to the scene for help.
It is believed that almost 18-20 four door Jeep Wranglers were destroyed in the fire. The presence of vehicle battery, tyres, fuel in the tanks caused small explosions in the lot before the fire department was able to put out the fire.
The warehouse is owned by Auto Warehousing Company, a subsidiary of Ann Arbor Railroad. The fire officials are said to be investigating the fire and are not ruling out either suspicious activity or vehicle malfunction. FCA is helping them to determine the cause.
FCA in a statement told that it is working with City of Toledo Fire and Rescue Department and the Toledo Police Department to help them investigate the fire at the shipping yard in Toledo, Ohio involving multiple vehicles. FCA refused to comment any further since it is an ongoing investigation.
