Subject to successful negotiations and that relevant approvals are given, Groupe CAT will integrate STVA into its organisation and thereby continue its strategic pursuit of external growth in order to become one of the European leaders in finished vehicle logistics.

The staff representing both parties will meet shortly to receive full information on the project. Subject to regulatory approvals, these negotiations are expected to be completed in the second half of 2017.
Groupe CAT has been operating since 1957 and in 2016 had a consolidated turnover of €1.2 billion with around 6,000 staff worldwide. Today, Groupe CAT is one of the European leaders in automotive transport and logistics. Groupe CAT’s main activities include vehicle logistics associated with value-added services, in addition to the logistics of spare parts, industrial components and motorcycles.
STVA Group has been operating since 1950 and in 2016 had a consolidated turnover of €312 million with around 2,200 staff across more than 30 sites, is one of the leaders in European finished vehicle logistics. Owning one of the first European largest bi-modal fleet, in 2016 STVA Group delivered around 2.8 million new and used vehicles by road and rail.
