For its Logistics Centre in Bremen, BLG Logistics is planning to employ packers and industrial truck drivers for auto parts logistics.
The 400 new jobs break down into 300 part-time and 100 full-time contracts. Most of the new employees will receive a permanent contract, while a small number will be limited to 24 months.
Currently, some 1,800 people are employed by BLG in the LC Bremen. Soon they will be supported by 400 more. Ude Klöpping, Chief HR Officer at BLG Logistics, explains: “We’re seeking new recruits who work carefully and reliably, and we’re looking forward to a lot of applications. The recruitment drive is especially directed at women who want to work part-time.“
The reason for this move is the good order situation in the Bremen Logistics Centre. On a floorspace of more than 300,000 square metres, BLG Logistics provides services for a major German automobile manufacturer. Included in the services are control and monitoring of all material, goods, and data flows.
