In the course of its continued international expansion, the automotive logistics company ARS Altmann AG, headquartered in Wolnzach, Bavaria is opening a new FVLT of its Polish subsidiary ARS Altmann Polska Sp.zo.o. in Ledziny.
With this new facility located in the Silesia region the company is gaining a strategically valuable compound in the south of Poland in the immediate vicinity of the Czech and Slovakian borders, thus expanding its European network.
Ledziny will serve, besides Lajski, as a second mainstay for ARS Polska. In its current extension stage, the new compound covers an area of 6 hectares of paved, fenced and secured terrain.
The new facility will provide logistics services including storage and pre-delivery- inspection for new and used vehicles. Its direct connection to the S1 motorway, which links the cities of Katowice and Tychy, is another location advantage for the company and opens many possibilities due to its proximity to the local car manufacturers and as a hub for business in Eastern Europe.
Frank Lehner, Member of the Board of ARS Altmann AG, confirms: “One of our corporate goals is the national and international organic growth and thus also the expansion of our business activities in Eastern and Southeastern Europe. In terms of internationalization, our new Polish site in Ledziny, due to its strategic location, is also suitable as a further hub for the Eastern European market. ”
