The Mosolf Group is expanding its management board and has appointed Wolfgang Göbel (52) as its Chief Sales Officer with immediate effect.
The newly created position of a Chief Sales Officer is designed to ensure the long-term success of the company, which is one of the leading system service providers for the automobile industry in Europe. The appointment also acknowledges the many years of service that Göbel has given to the Mosolf Group.
“Mr Göbel has acquired an excellent reputation both at home and abroad through his outstanding work. His expertise is much in demand as a Board Member and Vice-President of the Association of European Vehicle Logistics (ECG),” said Dr Jörg Mosolf, Managing Partner and CEO of the Mosolf Group. “We’re providing the foundation for long-term success with the newly created position and we’re making it very clear at the same time that there are no restrictions on the development potential within the Mosolf Group.”
Wolfgang Göbel has been working for Mosolf for more than 36 years. The trained freight forwarding clerk began his career at the automobile logistics specialist as an assistant to the management team and later became head of the sales/marketing and logistics department. Göbel will be responsible for all the sales activities and the long-term sales strategy of the group in his new remit. At the same time, he will continue to exercise his previous positions within the company. They include his tasks as Managing Director of the Mosolf subsidiaries Mosolf Automotive Railway, Mosolf Benelux B.V.B.A. and SAT Sächsische Autotransport und Service.
Göbel is the current long-term Vice-President of ECG and will be standing for election as President at the ECG annual General Assembly next week.
