As per June 1, Paul Wortelboer has been appointed Managing Director of Koopman Car Terminal.
With Wortelboer in the lead Koopman Car Terminal would like to strengthen its position as an all-round service-provider in Automotive Logistics. Wortelboer has also joined the Koopman Logistics Group Management Team.
During the last couple of years Koopman Car Terminal developed from a single-brand port terminal to an all-round automotive logistics services provider. This versatility demands management with a wide variety of knowledge and experience. Wortelboer meets these demands. Between 1995 and 2004 he was CEO of Athlon Car Lease Nederland, afterwards he switched to Volkswagen Pon Financial Services where he was in charge of DutchLease. After that Wortelboer held some national and international management positions within e.g. the catering and leisure industry.
Jon Kuiper, CEO of Koopman Logistics Group, is pleased about the appointment of Wortelboer: ‘We are a full-service provider in automotive logistics focusing on optimization of cycle times in the delivery and remarketing process. This enables our customers to improve their working capital. Other processes also aim at efficiency and cost reduction. Paul Wortelboer is the right person to make a new step forward with Koopman Car Terminal.’
