Michael Lütjann (47) has been appointed to the Management Board of Imperial Logistics International, which has its headquarters in Duisburg. He has been Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Imperial Logistics International since August last year. He will also take over the position of CIO at a higher level for the logistics division of the parent company, Imperial Holdings Limited, South Africa, from 2017 onwards. Before joining Imperial, Lütjann was Senior Vice President IT Management Logistics at Schenker and CIO at the logistics specialist Fiege.
“We now have a proven and experienced IT expert at Management Board level; he’s expanding the digital infrastructure at our company and continuing to develop processes, forms of work and business models with regard to their digital design,” said Carsten Taucke, commenting on the appointment. The Management Board now consists of three people: Carsten Taucke (CEO), Michael Lütjann (CIO) and Thomas Schulz (CFO).
