The GEFCO Group is refreshing its Executive Committee with the appointment of a new member and new roles for two of its current members.

He joined the GEFCO Group in 2013 as Deputy Director responsible for Performance and Continued improvement at GEFCO France. Delachambre was appointed Deputy Managing Director for GEFCO France in 2015. He started his career in the accounting audit sector and held several positions at FRET SNCF up until 2006 when he moved to VFLI, a major rail company before joining Euro Cargo Rail as Managing Director.
Emmanuel Cheremetinski has been appointed as Executive Vice President Overland, Finished Vehicles Logistics, Warehousing & Reusable Packaging. This role will include Warehousing & Reusable Packaging (WRP) and Finished Vehicle Logistics (FVL). He will be responsible for providing functional and strategic leadership for the OVL, FVL and WRP activities. He will define their orientation, monitor performance and provide the necessary support to the subsidiaries. Cheremetinski has been a member of GEFCO Executive Committee since 2015 as Overland (OVL). After holding various positions in the banking industry over 10 years, Emmanuel Cheremetinski joined the SNCF to contribute to the opening to competition of the railway market in Europe starting 2005. He started as Head of Railway Companies in Benelux and Italy, then as International Director. In 2010, Emmanuel joined the Executive Committee of the Touax Group, a logistics asset manager, to develop the river transport sector in emerging markets (Africa and South America). He then joined the GEFCO Group in July 2015, and was in charge of the strategic and functional management of the Overland business line.
Formerly Executive Vice-President of the Central Europe, Balkans & Middle East Zone (CEBAME), Pierre-Jean Lorrain also takes over as head of the EUROMED region. In this capacity, he will drive the integrated performance of the two regions and will contribute to the creation of synergies and the pooling of resources. Lorrain started his career as IT Project Manager in UNILOG. He joined the GEFCO Group in 1989 as IT Project Manager, led various positions for the Finished Vehicle Logistics Activity and became Finished Vehicle Logistics Manager in 2001 for GEFCO UK. Between 2006 and 2010, Lorrain managed the car distribution business unit at the GEFCO corporate headquarters and was then appointed Managing Director of the Italian Subsidiary in 2010. In 2013, he became Director of the Central Europe, Balkans and Middle East Zone for the GEFCO Group and joined the Group’s Executive Committee.
“With this new organisation, the GEFCO group will benefit from stronger synergies between its various specialities. This will generate greater efficiency and enable us to accelerate our growth in key markets and to guarantee the performance of our organisations,” said Luc Nadal, GEFCO Chairman of the Board.
