Infor, a leading provider of beautiful business applications specialised by industry and built for the cloud, has deployed WMS from the Infor SCE suite at another warehouse of LADA Image, the official distributor of spare parts for LADA automobiles.
LADA Image provides the package of services needed to ensure repair and maintenance of LADA automobiles in the domestic market as well as in neighboring countries and beyond. LADA Image has a far-reaching dealer network all over Russia and several large warehouses in different regions of the country. Currently, average monthly sales of spare parts by LADA Image exceed 1.5 billion rubles. In 2012, the company faced the task to replace the obsolete inventory accounting system with a modern WMS solution which would be easily scalable given increasing goods flows and new storage site, as well as adaptable to changes in goods processing requirements. LADA Image chose Infor WMS, and employed LT Management as an integrator. At first, the solution was implemented at the warehouse in Tolyatti, and then at the new sites in Yekaterinburg and Tver. This latest deployment of Infor WMS was conducted by LADA Image’s own IT team using regular system capabilities with a minimum level of participation of external consultants.
The new Infor WMS has provided transparent and flexible inventory accounting, automated day-to-day accounting, and sped up order processing. It has also automated procurement and container sizing processes. Thus, LADA Image has been able to maintain utilisation of containers at 84-87%. And the error in cell accounting has decreased to 0.00016%.
“The Infor WMS solution is noted for a well-developed basic functionality, ‘transparent’ system algorithms and flexible parametrisation of the existing algorithms,” said Alexander Panin, Logistics Director at LADA Image. “Integration of the WMS solution has helped us reach a number of important strategic goals such as commissioning of the new site, reaching high QSA performance within our dealer network and expansion of the regional warehouse network.”
“Infor WMS enables us to quickly, and with minimal effort, automate new facilities by integrating them into a single information environment, enabling companies to implement business development plans without any possible restrictions within Infor WMS,” said Boris Frolov, CIO at LADA Image.
“Infor solutions meet most of new business requirements using existing system functionality without any need for further enhancement,” noted Dmitry Martynov, Official Infor Representative in Russia and CIS states. “This facilitates solutions scaling and provides more freedom to the customer in terms of setup and operation.”
LADA Image is planning to extend Infor SCE use, in particular, to implement the Labor Management functionality at the existing sites.
